FWIT San Antonio Meeting

About our Speaker:

Elizabeth Murcia is the Executive Director of Dress for Success San Antonio, where she leads the organization’s mission to empower women toward economic independence and mobility. With a focus on long-term sustainability and meaningful impact, Liz works to strengthen programs, build strategic partnerships, and create opportunities that help women move forward in their careers and lives.

Her journey with Dress for Success began as a volunteer, grew into service on the Board of Directors, and ultimately led to her role as Executive Director. Her connection to the mission is also personal, reflecting values rooted in her upbringing in the Philippines: community, service, and showing up for others. Those values are reflected in the Filipino spirit of bayanihan, the belief that we are stronger when we come together and lift one another up.

Liz is also a co-founder of EMpower Solutions Group LLC, a boutique technology consulting firm, where she focuses on building strong client and community relationships. Outside of work, she is an advanced-level martial artist and enjoys being outdoors, discovering great places to eat, and traveling with her two children and their dog.

Whether through nonprofit leadership, entrepreneurship, or community service, Liz believes some of the most meaningful work happens when people come together around a shared purpose.
