About Our Speaker:
As President and CEO of Girls Inc. of San Antonio, Lea leads the city’s foremost girls’ youth development leadership organization, that inspire,s and equips girls to achieve their full potential. Lea’s nonprofit career brought her to Girls Inc. of San Antonio in 2014. Since taking the helm, Lea has launched growth campaigns for the organization focusing not only on serving a larger number of girls but also on providing a greater depth of services and opportunities to support behavioral health and wellness programs, college and career readiness, and mentorship. With over twenty years of experience in philanthropy, development, and management, Lea has also worked with Project MEND, the Girl Scouts, and the National MS Society. Named the 2018 Nonprofit Senior Manager of the Year by the San Antonio Business Journal, she is active in numerous city-wide initiatives and is a sought-after speaker on girl empowerment. Lea holds a Master of Arts in Educational Administration from the University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Communications from the University of Oklahoma. Lea Rosenauer leads by example and strives to create access and opportunities for girls every day by helping them grow strong, smart, and bold.
