As women in finance, we help others with financial and banking goals all the time, but it's important to be investing and working towards our own financial goals.

Lina Laird, BBA Class of 2005, and founder of Passion to Invest will present investing basics and wealth-building strategies that are accessible and proven, through the lens of a regular person.  Her passion for teaching is based on her personal experience and the one investing concept that clicked form John Bogel: “Don't look for the needle in the haystack. Buy the haystack".  

The old proverb: “The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second-best time is today.” It essentially means that while the ideal time to act was in the past, the next best option is to start now. It is never too late to start. Knowing critical investment concepts is valuable for everyone.
