ABOUT OUR SPEAKER:
Marycruz De Leon is a Senior Advisor in Community Development at the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas. Marycruz works on the Bank’s Digital Inclusion initiative where she is helping regional partnerships address challenges related to broadband availability and affordability, and digital skills. Marycruz also contributes to Advance Together, a Dallas Fed initiative that supports community partnerships in Texas focused on education attainment and workforce development.
Prior to her role in Community Development, Marycruz served as Assistant Economist where she analyzed regional economic issues, collected information for the 11th District Beige Book, and contributed to various bank publications.
Before joining the Dallas Fed, she was an Economist at Moody’s Analytics, where she focused on Latin American economies. She also worked as a Research Analyst at the Greater Houston Partnership, the Houston region’s primary economic development organization. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Baylor University and Master of Science degree in Economics from the University of Texas at El Paso.
